Bathroom Showroom Sales Designer


We are currently looking for an experienced Bathroom Sales Consultant to manage our retail sales from our showroom in Maidstone. As the primary point of contact for new and existing retail clients, you will take responsibility for the complete sales process from initial meeting to project completion. The role is ideally suited to someone with previous bathroom design experience and the drive and confidence to help grow the retail side of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

Responding to customer enquires; arranging showroom and at home appointments.
Building rapport with customers instore, providing courteous and knowledgable support with the view of generating new sales.
Designing bathrooms using specialist CAD software.
Create quotations for customers and processing payments.
Liaising with suppliers to effectivly manage customer orders and customer service enquiries, from ordering through to delivery.
Maintaing the retail showroom; ensuring brochures are restocked, selling ex-display/end of line products, creating new displays.


Candidate Requirements:

Self motivated and have the confidence to take control of the retail side of the business. You will take a pro-active approach to encouraging new sales through updating, maintaining and promoting the showroom. The desire to keep awareness of trends and new products in the bathoom industry.


Required skills and competencies:

Strong communication skills in order to liase with clients and suppliers effectivly.
Competant knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office.
Previous sales experience in the bathroom industry.
Bathroom design experience preferable (training provided on design software)
Well presented and professional.
Own car essential for home visit appointments.
Weekend availability for scheduled Saturdays.
