Häfele and Martek have become the latest members of The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity.
Furniture fittings manufacturer Häfele has subsidiaries in 150 countries with its UK branch operating from Rugby, Warwickshire.
Croydon-based Martek manufactures and installs specialist bespoke joinery in a number of commercial and high-end residential buildings.
Dr Tony Smart, master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “We are delighted to welcome Häfele and Martek as corporate members. Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us – and to the future of furnishing. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the city livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun.”
