Fisher & Paykel brings a taste of New Zealand to IFA

On its stand at the IFA show in Berlin, premium appliance brand Fisher and Paykel will be giving visitors “a uniquely New Zealand experience with hand-selected materials and foods”.

The company said the appliance display blends together a curated collage-style of appliances with digital technology to best suit customers’ lifestyle needs.

The display will include the new-generation DishDrawer, integrated column and quad-door refrigerators with ActiveSmart technology, and the classic, contemporary and professional freestanding ranges.

Fisher and Paykel chief executive Stuart Broadhurst said that the brand experience at IFA would reflect a “design heritage and culture of curiosity that continues to challenge conventional appliance design”.

He added: “We’re bringing a uniquely New Zealand experience to IFA Berlin that represents Fisher and Paykel’s proud heritage, with hand-selected materials and food experiences that are symbolic of our home.

“The Social Kitchen is how we think about the changing nature of the kitchen and the role it plays in our lives. We want visitors to our stand to relax and interact with our appliances as they would in their own homes.”

Fisher and Paykel’s general manager for design, Mark Elmore, commented: “Our focus is on using high-quality materials – glass, polished and brushed stainless steel and the highest-quality components to create a premium look and feel.”
