BSH has announced that supply issues on a number of its Bosch, Neff and Siemens induction hobs are likely to continue until April 2018.
Back in November, the appliance manufacturer announced a delay to a key component for the control panel of many of its induction hobs, which couldn’t be manufactured to the level expected by a third party supplier.
To reduce the impact on orders, BSH said it would temporarily discontinue a number of induction hob variants and introduce new models that don’t require the component.
A new 2017/18 brochure has been released to retailers, which provides a detailed summary of all models that will be available until further notice.
A statement said: “We continue to work closely with our manufacturing locations to get clear information and secure adequate production. We are in regular contact with our trade partners in regards to this supply issue, communicating up-to-date information as and when available.”
