Bathroom Takeaway reveals growth plans

Retailer Bathroom Takeaway has appointed Neil Butterwick as head of supply chain and product management for both the trade and consumer arms across the UK and Europe.

Butterwick (pictured) will manage the rollout of all 14 Bathroom Takeaway stores, which are set to be “strategically” placed throughout the UK.

Its flagship store on Regent Road in Salford, the first of its showrooms, has exceeded all sales targets, it claimed.

The firm plans to open its second showroom in Birmingham in March with further store openings planned throughout 2018.

The company has been trading since November 2014 and has offices in the UK, France, Italy and Germany. It also has a distribution centre in Trafford and a headcount of 70 full-time employees.

Butterwick said: “To be part of a business that hit the ground running with a 10,500-pallet capacity distribution centre on day one is a really an exciting opportunity. No day is ever the same and the talented team are all so committed and enthusiastic that it really does make it a pleasure to come to work. As a business, we have ambitious growth strategies in place for Bathroom Takeaway and I’m looking forward to implementing them.”
