SBID appoints new president

The Society of British and International Design (SBID) has appointed Diana Celella (pictured) as the new SBID president for the term 2018-2020.

She succeeds founding president Dr Vanessa Brady, and is committed to further developing SBID’s core mission to guide and measure the profession’s trading standards.

Celella is an award-winning designer based in the West Midlands, and has been a practitioner for over 30 years currently working in the commercial sector of interior design, specialising in health care projects, such as care homes, dental practices, assisted living and retirement villages.

SBID has also appointed global design, architecture, and engineering firm HOK’s vice president and director of interiors, Tom Marquardt, as president elect for the term 2020-2022.
