‘UK a very exciting market for us,’ says Treesse

Italian whirlpool bath manufacturer Treesse has used the kbb Birmingham show to mark its official UK and Ireland launch.

The brand specialises in whirlpool baths and multifunctional showers that boast minimalism, hidden technologies and strategic use of atmospheric lighting. It has also used the show to display its Ghost series by Marc Sadler.

It is looking to build up a network of dealers throughout the UK and said it had seen a great deal of interest at kbb Birmingham, which is its first UK exhibition.

Speaking to kbbreview at the show, Lorna Wainwright, UK and Ireland agent for Treesse, said: “The reception has been excellent. We’ve had lots of interest and the show has been very busy and positive for us.

“Of course, being the official launch of Treesse UK and Ireland, we are in the process of setting up a network of display outlets as these items have to be seen functioning for maximum impact and to demonstrate their unique features.”

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, this has not been a deterrent for the brand as it believes the demand for spa-style products is strong in the UK.

“The UK is a very exciting market for Treesse,” Wainwright added, “who, to date, have largely concentrated on the home market and the Middle East. The demand for spa bathrooms and spa zones, that people enjoy in a hotel or professional spa environment, is definitely there.

“It tends to be the Italians that excel in the wellness and hydrotherapy market due to their culture and history of roman baths and spas.”
