Hansgrohe announces opening date for Water Studio

Sanitary fittings manufacturer Hansgrohe has announced that it will open a new Water Studio on March 1.

The 262sq m studio will be spread over two floors at 12-16 Clerkenwell Road in London’s design district. The ground floor will be dedicated to Axor and the floor below to Hansgrohe.

UK managing director Martin Mongan (pictured) said the studio is designed to “add real value to the daily business of architects and designers”. He added: “Unlike conventional ‘showrooms’, which are about presentation, The Water Studio is about demonstration and interaction.”

It will include four working water stations and more than 200 products. A library wall will also offer inspiration, resources and digital presentations.

The company also said the new studio will act as a global hub for the Hansgrohe family, for launches and events. Retailers are encouraged to visit the studio to experience the brand first-hand. End customers will also be welcome, it said, and would be redirected to their nearest retail showroom to make their final purchase.
