Sven Herden to leave Hacker Kuchen

Sven Herden, UK managing director for Hacker Kuchen, will leave the company at the end of 2018.

The decision has been at his own request in order to pursue new challenges. The rest of the UK team of the German kitchen company will stay the same and Jörg Varnholt, sales director Europe, will assist in the transition period until the role is filled.

Herden has been with the company since 2011 and took over the UK managing director role in 2015 from Stephen Fass.

After taking over the role from Fass, Herden described it “as big shoes to fill” as Fass had been the one to take the German brand to the UK and had been with the company since 1977.

Hacker Kuchen said: “We regret his decision and thank him for his many years of dedication and the success we have achieved with him. We wish him all the best for the future.”
