The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019 has been launched with the opening of the entry process and the announcement of a new location and venue for the event.
To mark the 25th year of the longest running awards in the sector, organisers have chosen the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester to host the event. Located right next to Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, it is a converted cotton warehouse that it has been turned into one of the most exciting events venues in the UK.
The date is Thursday, April 4th 2019. It is also the first time the event has been held on a Thursday night.
“The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards has always celebrated winners and finalists from across the UK & Ireland so we’re going on the road to take the celebrations to the North West for the first time,” said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies.
“Manchester is a proudly working city, with a huge industrial heritage and an exciting, creative culture and we’re celebrating that in a brand new venue – the Victoria Warehouse. The format of the event itself is getting a whole revamp too so there’ll be plenty of surprises and things we’ve never done before. So if you think you know the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards, think again…”
Some of the biggest names in the industry are also confirmed as sponsors including Roca, Neff, Vitra, InSinkErator, Hansgrohe, Miele, AEG, Franke, Compusoft and Virtual Worlds.
Organisers also confirmed that the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2020 will be held alongside the kbb Birmingham exhibition.
The awards is also now open for entries from any retailers, designers and manufacturers in the UK kitchen and bathroom industry.
