The 25th kbbreview Retail & Design Awards is now open for any retailers, designers and manufacturers in the UK kitchen and bathroom industry.
The 2019 awards are free to enter and the categories cover project design at all budget points, the very best retail businesses and product innovation.
The closing date is November 22.
The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards is the longest running awards event in the sector and is widely seen as the ‘Oscars’ of the industry. It also uses a unique judging process that allows judges to really get under the skin of the design projects and retail businesses.
In the design categories, the first stage sees the hundreds of submitted entries narrowed down by a panel of expert judges to four finalists per category. Those finalists are then invited to a venue in London to make a presentation on their shortlisted design to the judges in person.
In the retail categories, the submitted entries are also viewed by an expert judging panel. They choose four finalists for each category and then, over the course of several weeks, each one is visited by a judge in person to see the business up close and really understand how it ticks.
To mark the 25 year celebrations, organisers have also announced that they are holding the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019 event in Manchester for the first time. The event takes place on Thursday, April 4 at the Victoria Warehouse.
“We’re really pulling out the stops for the 25th anniversary and I can’t wait to see what the amazing designers, retailers and manufacturers put together to enter this year,” said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies.
“The anticipation that the launch of the awards bring is always a big highlight of the year for me, but combine that with a brand new host city and venue and we’re heading towards a very special event.”
