KBB software technology producer ArtiCAD’s sales director Cliff Hammond has passed away after ‘a long and brave battle with cancer’.
He died on September 21 and he leaves a wife, Andre, and two sons, Christopher and Nicholas.
Hammond started in the KBB industry with ArtiCAD as a teenager and later worked for several companies including Waterline, Omega and Manor Interiors. He rejoined ArtiCAD three years ago.
ArtiCAD’s managing director Richard Turner said: “This is an extremely sad time for us all. Cliff’s contribution to ArtiCAD has been transformational. In recent years, he recruited and developed a fantastic new team, who will carry on his great work. We will miss him dearly both as a colleague and a trusted friend. Above all, we will miss his unstinting good humour.”
Former KBSA chairman Graham Hayden said: “I was extremely proud to present Cliff with the KBSA ‘salesperson of the year’ award some years ago and I will miss his fantastic sense of fun mixed with a true professional pride. Cliff will remain a blueprint to which we can all aspire.”
Any tributes to Hammond can be sent to [email protected] and these will be presented to his family. His family is collecting donations for Cancer Research UK and the funeral will be held October 5, in Golders Green, North London.
