Brassware firm Vado has said that its 2018 fund-raising rally event raised £101,000 – smashing its 2016 total by £36,000.
The Vado Rally is an annual four-day whacky drive in June to raise money for charity.
This year, Vado’s chosen charities were the Rainy Day Trust and Variety, the children’s charity.
Sponsored by industry brands, including Blum, Uform and HPP, kbbreview took part in this year’s event, driving from Dover to Copenhagen in fancy dress.
Vado said in a tweet: “A huge thank you to everyone who donated and took part in this year’s #VADORally, and to our partners @kbbreview and @bmf_merchants.
“Smashing 2016’s total by over £36,000, the money raised will be invaluable in helping our chosen charities @VarietyGB and @RAINYDAYTRUST”
