KBB finance firm bulks up team to support retailers

Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) has created a new role to support KBB retailers with best practice and compliance when introducing point-of-sale credit solutions.

Lewis Jenkinson will take on the position of compliance manager at the home-improvement finance specialist.

CCS executive director Peter Nicholson said: “We have always been committed to providing the best possible service to our home-improvement partners, and to ensuring they have the support and guidance to manage point-of-sale finance effectively and compliantly.

“We now operate in a highly regulated world, and the appointment of Lewis provides them with the reassurance that developing and implementing best practice remains at the forefront of our business.”

As compliance manager, Jenkinson has day-to-day responsibility for overseeing clients, data protection, auditing, and quality assurance.

He was formerly compliance monitoring manager at Chorley Building Society and compliance manager at debt collection agency NCO Europe.

Nicholson said Jenkinson had “extensive knowledge across all aspects of regulatory compliance, with particular experience in the implementation of compliance frameworks within consumer finance”.

Jenkinson said: “I’m excited to take up the position as it’s clear that CCS is a successful, ambitious business that understands the value a compliance manager can add.

“I’m hoping to enhance the existing compliance arrangements already in place at CCS, while assisting retail partners with their compliance queries.”
