Bertazzoni launches its first ever dishwasher

Bertazzoni has launched its first ever dishwasher models to the UK and Ireland. They will be available early next year.

The 60cm integrated models, showcased at design exhibition EuroCucina earlier this year, offer 14 place settings and eight wash programs, including a self-cleaning function.

They are available with or without a built-in sliding door.

The family firm, which is presided over by the fifth and sixth generations of its founders in Guastalla in Italy’s Reggio Emilia region and is known for high-end, stylish cooking products, said the launch marks the brand’s venture into new domestic appliance categories.

“We’ve earned many loyal customers who understand that buying Bertazzoni means investing in Italian craftsmanship, beautiful engineering and high-end design,” said Maurizio Severgnini, managing director for Bertazzoni UK and Ireland.

“With the positive reaction we’ve had, we know that some will see this as an opportunity to fully equip their kitchen with Bertazzoni products, offering a complete design solution for the whole kitchen space.

“We’re expecting a strong response to the launch and can’t wait for these products to hit the market.”

Bertazzoni set up a UK subsidiary in May 2017 in Prenton, the Wirral, as part of ambitious growth plans.

Last year, it announced partnerships with kitchen supplier Mereway and appointed a number of UK distributor partners to grow its retail network in the country.

Bertazzoni, which uses the Ferrari factory to paint its range cookers, has about 250 employees and manufactures in excess of 200,000 units per year.
