Bathroom accessories supplier Croydex has been named North Hampshire Business of the Year for 2015 in the local Inspire Awards.
The Andover-based company was recognised for its significant contribution to the global bathroom accessories market.
“We are absolutely delighted to have won this award, which is testament to the strong team, hard work and commitment given by all our staff,” said Croydex managing director Nick McGrellis.
“Our mission is simple. We want to improve our customers’ experience by adding value, while simplifying the installation and use of our products. Although the market remains challenging, our turnover continues to increase and we believe this is due to our reputation for quality and design expertise.
“Our in-house design team is constantly thinking of pioneering ideas to simplify product, installation and use. This year we launched bathroom accessories that offer a lifetime guarantee against rust. We have also expanded into the bathroom furniture market with our Click ’N’ Lock range of bathroom furniture that simply clicks together.”
He went on to add: “It is particularly pleasing that the judges have recognised the technical problem-solving approach underpinning our products, as well as our ethical stance, including products certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and Rainforest Alliance, and our involvement in the Water Label.
“We will continue to lead in product design and innovation. Growth opportunities in key strategic export markets are already being achieved, setting us in good stead to prosper in an ever-changing market, not only in the UK, but across Europe, the USA and beyond.”
The Inspire awards take place annually and recognise local businesses in north Hampshire.
