Homebase’s entire board of directors will be departing the company in the next two weeks, new owner Wesfarmer has announced.
Managing director Echo Lu (pictured) will leave this Friday, with commercial director Paul Emslie, retail operations director Ewan McMahon and marketing director Chris McDonough set to follow in the coming weeks.
Wesfarmers said the current HR team would remain in place for six months.
The home improvement group, which owns Australian and New Zealand home improvement retailer Bunnings, completed the deal to buy Homebase for £340 million from Home Retail Group on Monday (February 29).
It previously announced it would be rebranding Homebase as Bunnings.
