The Kitchen and Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) has appointed Russell Sharpe as business manager for the north.
Sharpe joins the company from Symphony Group and over his kitchen career, he has worked for Moores Furniture Group and Crestwood. He was also with the PJH Group for over a decade.
Bill Miller, managing director of the KBBG, said: “Russell brings enormous strength to the business with his highly-tuned knowledge of the independent kitchen and bathroom specialist market. Understanding the drive and needs of the discerning independent retailer is essential, while Russell’s well-honed retail business skills, and his strong background, will promote the progression and development of new and future business opportunities.”
Sharpe will focus on the continued support of current independent kitchen and bathroom retailers, as well as establishing new retail members throughout the north of the UK.
Miller said: “There are a few challenging years ahead of us and there is no better time for independent kitchen specialists to join a buying group to support and drive their business. The KBBG has an established and healthy reputation in the UK, consistently achieving high performance and opportunities for the benefits of our independent kitchen specialists.”
“Joining the KBBG brings much-needed stability, choice and positivity for the independent retailer in the trading climate ahead,” Sharpe added.
