With the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards moves to Manchester this year, Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) has decided this is the perfect time to get involved as its sustainability partner.
Dan Mounsey, marketing manager at HPP, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards, which are well-established and widely-recognised awards organised by the industry’s flagship magazine.
“In the past, HPP had thought about becoming an awards sponsor. But when we heard this year’s event is being held in Manchester, it made perfect sense to get involved.
“Manchester is an on-trend conurbation and the Victoria Warehouse, where the awards will take place, looks like an interesting venue that we can do a lot with. So, we’re really looking forward to the awards and to meeting everyone on April 4.”
HPP is the sustainability partner for the awards, as this is an area that is a particular focus for the supplier. Mounsey said: “Sustainability is obviously a really important topic. There is increased awareness of the issues surrounding sustainability and the KBB industry needs to think about its impact on the environment and what we can do to lessen it. Our industry uses a lot of raw materials and consumes a lot of energy, so these are significant topics to be addressed.
“HPP takes sustainability very seriously in its own operations. Our manufacturing site in Oldham includes biomass boilers, solar panels, various energy-saving initiatives, waste stream separation and high levels of recycling. So, we are taking steps to address these challenges.”
Mounsey concluded: “Becoming sustainability sponsors for the 2019 kbbreview Retail & Design Awards is a great fit for HPP. We are really looking forward to the event coming to Manchester.
“As our business is growing, we are looking to build the HPP brand and becoming an award sponsor with kbbreview magazine seems like a very good partnership.”
