Caesarstone has taken on four new members of staff as it grows its sales team.
They are Megan Casson as commercial manager, architects and designers, London, and three sales managers – Liz Manston for Essex, the east and south-east London, Tom Stephenson for the North-East and Leanne Hirst for Yorkshire.
Managing director Amir Reske said: “2019 is about expansion. Our UK workforce has grown to 40 employees in just two years of operation in order to support an impressive network of over 3,000 retailers and showrooms. This network is constantly growing and to support this, we are committed to continuing our investment in the development of a high-calibre sales team, which will enhance our presence across the UK. I am delighted to welcome the four latest recruits to the Caesarstone UK team.
“The strength of this relationship is evidenced with a number of high-profile project wins in 2018 and we are regarded by many in the industry as the surfaces manufacturer to partner with, not least because of our ongoing product innovation and unparalleled service.”
“Our project base is growing all the time, so we have expanded our commercial sales team with our most recent recruit.”
Casson will be responsible for continuing to strengthen Caesarstone’s relations with the A&D/specification community and practices in London.
She brings a varied design background to the Caesarstone team, having worked as both a freelance interior designer and a specifications manager at Cosentino and Grespania.
Having worked for Caesarstone since its direct operation launched in January 2017, Manston is now responsible for developing business with studios and fabricators in east and south-east of London and Essex, where the premium kitchen retailer market is experiencing growth. Liz began her career with the company in the sales operations department.
Stephenson joins after 10 years working across a variety of B2B sectors in sales management positions at companies such as Converted Media and Rayovac.
His extensive sales experience will be applied to this role to make Caesarstone the go-to quartz brand in the North-East.
Hirst brings more than 13 years’ sales experience to her new role. Previously, she worked in sales and account management in the pharmaceutical industry, where she gained significant customer-facing experience.
