Grohe is planning to introduce a certification scheme for installers who undertake its training to become brand-approved fitters. It hopes to roll this out later this year.
The certified installers’ details will be published on Grohe’s installer and showroom locator tool on its website, enabling customers to find them easily and ensuring installations are carried out by fitters with Grohe product expertise.
The company will hold six product training days for installers throughout 2019 at the new training facility at its UK head office near Heathrow Airport.
Chris Penney, Grohe UK training manager, said: “We have invested in making our training room fit for purpose and feel that hands-on, face-to-face interaction is the best way to approach product training, while also strengthening our rapport with integral customers.
“We plan to host six product-specific training sessions on some of our most popular market-leading products over the duration of the year.”
The training sessions will allow installers to get to grips with products from Grohe’s kitchen and bathroom offerings through live installations in a built-for-purpose environment. Supported by Grohe product experts, installers will have access to a working shower cubicle and Sensia Arena shower toilet system.
The Grohe training dates are:
- Friday, March 22, 2019: Smart Control Concealed
- Friday, April 26, 2019: Grohe Sense and Sense Guard
- Friday, June 28, 2019: Sensia Arena Install
- Friday, September 27, 2019: Grohe Blue Home / Professional Install Friday 25th October 2019 – Grohe Red Install
- Friday, November 29, 2019: Rapido Smart Box Trim Sets
