Miele supports premium kitchens at kbbreview Retail & Design Awards

Miele has sponsored a Kitchen Designer of the Year award at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019.

Dominic Worsley, marketing director for Miele GB, said: “Miele has a long association with the renowned kbbreview Retail & Design Awards, which are coveted by all types of businesses within the industry – from manufacturers to retail partners alike.

“As a generalisation, Miele will most often be specified in premium bespoke or high-end modern kitchens and so it makes total sense for Miele to sponsor the award for Kitchen Designer of the Year: project cost over £50,000. We enjoy working with the finest designers in the industry and so it is fantastic for us to be able to recognise and acknowledge the very best talent – designers who are putting their clients first – helping them to create their ultimate dream kitchen.”

Miele is also a judging partner for the Awards and it hosted the kitchen judging day at the Miele Experience Centre in London’s Cavendish Place. This was a day where each shortlisted designer presented their projects to a panel of design experts.

“But what is it that sets the most exceptional designers apart? There seem to be some common traits. Firstly, they take the time to really listen and understand what their clients want. So often, a client may have a very fixed idea in their head, but that could be because they just don’t know what else is possible.
