Birmingham-based luxury components company, Armac Martin has announced its plans to commemorate 90 years in business with the launch of several new product ranges throughout 2019.
To mark the milestone, the firm introduced its latest product line, The Mix, in March. The collection allows customers to ‘mix’ their own versions of the collection, by choosing their own finish for knobs and caps, style and size of backplates.
As part of it’s long-term strategy the company – which was originally started as Armac in 1929 by local entrepreneur Harold McGrail – said it is looking to develop new ranges within the kitchen and bathroom sectors later in the year.
Commercial director Richard McGrail said: “The Armac Martin team and I are delighted to be celebrating 90 successful years in business and look forward to marking this monumental occasion with the launch of several new product lines throughout 2019.
“As a firm, we pride ourselves on family heritage, where skills in product design and development have been passed down through four generations. This heritage will remain key to our success as we continue to grow and develop the business throughout the next 12 months and beyond.”
The firm said that over the past five years, it has enjoyed “significant growth” fuelled by increasing demand from the United States.
The business is still privately owned by the founder’s family. The management team now consists of McGrail’s two grandsons, Paul and Mark, as well as Paul’s two sons, Robert and Richard.
It produces more than 40 hardware collections, available in 21 finishes.
