Grant Westfield, the company behind Multipanel, has appointed John Mortimer as sales director.
Mortimer joins Grant Westfield from Formica Group, where he was sales director for the UK, Ireland and Middle East. He will report directly to Sarah Law, who took over as Grant Westfield’s managing director in January 2017 implementing a product restructuring and brand repositioning strategy.
Law said: “Grant Westfield and Formica share many similarities – a reputation for quality, heritage and brand and have enjoyed a trading relationship spanning decades. Formica was the obvious supplier partner for our new, highly successful, Multipanel collections.
“John’s experience in customer and sales team development will add value to Grant Westfield’s operations in the UK and Europe, and further establish the Multipanel brand as the industry leader in both product and customer service. We are delighted that John is joining us in the next phase of our customer-focused strategy for growth.”

An experienced sales and marketing director, Mortimer has a first class Honours Degree in marketing management from Northumbria University and a CIM PGD in marketing. He brings a wealth of experience in HPL [high-pressure laminates] products and engineered surface materials from working with the trade and retail sectors, as well as in specification with architects, designers, fabricators, specifiers and developers.
