Poggenpohl and Porsche sign ‘long-term contract’

Luxury kitchen brand Poggenpohl and the iconic car company Porsche have agreed to continue to work together in a “long-term partnership”.

The companies said the focus of their cooperation will be on continuing the existing Porsche Design kitchens P ́7340 and P ́7350 and deepening shared marketing activities globally.

Together they will also develop a new product range.

“Back in 2007, we launched our first joint kitchen, the Porsche Design P ́7340,” said Jan Becker, chief executive of Porsche Des

“We were then able to supplement our portfolio with a further model and Porsche Design kitchens can now be found all over the world. We are really looking forward to building on this successful partnership with the new, long-term contract.”

“A high level of design competence, craftsmanship and the global brand recognition are just some of the shared core values of Poggenpohl and Porsche Design,” said Gernot Mang, chief executive of Poggenpohl.

“Treading our own path, never stopping, believing in the best solution – these mottos are the basis of our strategic cooperation on equal terms.”

The P ́7340 kitchen, with stainless-steel frame construction, was developed by Porsche and Poggenpohl in 2007.

In 2014, they developed the P ́7350. The two kitchen concepts have repeatedly received international design prizes.
