BA Components has gained two new members of staff – James Harris (pictured left) as the new chief operating officer and Graham Carse (right) as product manager.

Nick Corlett, chief executive at BA, said: “James and Graham will help deliver our long-term growth strategy and boost speed to market, while continuing our success as a leading manufacturer in the UK, RoI and European markets. We are determined to be at the forefront of the KBB industry and have ambitious plans as we head towards celebrating 30 years in business.”

Harris has 25 years of global supply chain experience, across several manufacturing environments. He has previously been COO for Berghaus then worked as a consultant with private equity-backed businesses. He has experience in product management, sourcing, logistics and demand management for his new role at BA.

Harris said: “What really appeals to me about BA is the combination of passion and dynamism that exist in the organisation, allied to a determination to get the job done. This is a business that has clear objectives and has set about achieving those with real purpose. My role will cover all operational functions, including the procurement, production, logistics and supply chain management, and I am looking forward to bringing my experience into the tasks at hand.”

Carse has worked in the KBB industry for over 30 years and has previously been employed at Magnet, Spring Ram, MFI and Homebase. Most recently, he spent six years at Benchmarx, where he developed the trade kitchen portfolio.

Carse said: “I’m thrilled to join BA who have impressed me with their determination for growth through new products and service enhancements. With their state-of-the-art production facilities, I believe there is great potential, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
