Caesarstone has expanded its sales team with three new area managers. Liz Clarke will cover Cheshire, Staffordshire, North Wales and the West Midlands, Lucy Williams will look after the North-West Midlands and Charlotte Wainde will handle the East Midlands.
Amir Reske, managing director for Caesarstone UK said: “Our business is growing as planned and in line with our long-term strategy and ambition for the Caesarstone brand in the UK. These recent sales appointments are a key part of this growth plan and will ensure that, as we win further new business, our channel partners will continue to receive the high level of service which has become a hallmark of our operation.”
Reske continued: “We have a different view of this industry, one that frees us from some of the accepted norms. Recruiting and retaining the best people is of paramount importance but given the rapidly changing nature of the business, so is having the right mix of experience.”
Clarke has a wealth of sales experience looking after key customers for big brands such as Nestle, Stork and Wrigley’s. She said: “I look forward to applying my extensive experience and positive energy into my new role as area sales manager, building the Caesarstone network and customer base in my region.”
Williams has been account managing and selling to independent boutiques in the fashion world for more than 10 years. With a keen eye for trends and the ebb and flow of interior fashions, Lucy will be responsible for managing accounts for Caesarstone in the growing Midlands region. She said: “I am looking forward to building strong, long-lasting relationships with my clients and enhancing our visibility in a part of the country that I know so well.”
Wainde has more than 15 years’ experience in field sales for FMCG brands such as Carlsberg, Heineken and Wrigley Confectionery. As the newest addition to Caesarstone’s sales team, Charlotte is keen to apply her wealth of experience in building strong relationships quickly. She said: “I’m excited to start and transition quickly into the role. I bring a lot of passion and excitement to my work and look forward to growing the Caesarstone brand in my area.”
