Cavalier Bathrooms invests £500k to boost growth and innovation

Yorkshire-based bathroom manufacturer Cavalier Bathrooms has invested half-a-million pounds to improve its facilities and improve business development, growth and product innovation.

The company is the name behind brands such as Aquadart, Elation, April Products and Niagara.

The £500k spend has allowed the company to expand to 200,000sq ft and to separate its head office, manufacturing plant and showroom across three sites in Keighley and Skipton.

The family-run company, which has more than 100 years’ experience in the market, said that the expansion has allowed it to improve facilities for its 162 employees as well as investing in new manufacturing machinery to continue the efficient production of its bathroom products and aid product innovation.

Speaking of this latest investment, managing director Rob Harrison (pictured) said: “The investment came at a pivotal time for the company, as we are embracing a period of growth. We’re looking forward to continuing to design, manufacture and launch innovative new products to market from our base in Yorkshire, in our journey to be a one-stop bathroom solution provider for our customers.”

As well as the investment in its facilities in Yorkshire, Cavalier has also announced the launch of a new product – Rolla 8 from Aquadart. This is a range of frameless sliding doors that it says “combines the aesthetics of a wet room with the functionality of a shower enclosure”.

Said Harrison: “We are very proud about the launch of Rolla 8. It’s an incredibly clever design with an 8mm sliding glass door, superior gliding motion and a soft stop buffer, creating the sophisticated look and feel of a wet room regardless of a bathroom’s configuration.”

He added: “The slider recess with Rolla 8 is especially exciting, as it opens up the potential of sophisticated bathroom design and wet-room styles in smaller spaces or in difficult configurations where windows, for example, may not allow for a complete wet room.”
