Virtual Worlds puts pedal to the metal for BMF charity rally

KBB design software company Virtual Worlds has teamed up with the Builders Merchants Federation in a new charity sponsorship deal.

The deal saw the Virtual Worlds logo appear on the BMF team car for the Pavestone Rally in early September.

The team were challenged with buying a road-legal car for under £500, dressing it up and participating in one big banger race across Europe.

The four-man team set themselves a £5,000 fund-raising target and managed to exceed that by raising £7,000 in total.

Taking place over three days, the Pavestone Rally raised £133,000 overall for Teenage Cancer Trust, Variety and Rainy Day Trust, with cars racing from their northern France starting point, on to Salzburg, before meeting the chequered flag in Lake Como.

“The Pavestone Rally is a great, fun way to raise important funds for three very worthwhile charities,” commented Nathan Maclean, Virtual Worlds managing director.
