London-based manufacturer, Price Kitchens, welcomed the mayor of the London Borough of Croydon to its factory and showroom on August 28.
Mayor Humayun Kabir met with directors and staff for a tour around the company’s premises. The visit was designed to show how Price Kitchens has grown over the past 40 years from a small corner shop to a modern manufacturing company.
The staff were keen to show how they use the latest technologies to produce kitchens and bedrooms.
Price Kitchens is a key supplier to Croydon council, as well as a number of housing associations and private property developers in London and the south-east region of England.
The company is still owned by the Price family and said that it has had a record year, with sales growth of more than 30%.
