KBB consultant and sales agent Rob Hassell has died aged 69 after a three-year battle with cancer.
Hassell had a successful 30-year career in the kitchen and bathroom sector and led the sales and marketing teams at board level for many established large companies and was instrumental in the growth of a number of new brands in the UK.
Companies with which Hassell was associated include Spring Ram, Symphony and Haro.
For the past 20 years, he ran his own consultancy and sales agency business.
His wife Ruth and two sons Chris and Mike would like to invite his many industry friends to attend the funeral at York Crematorium (YO23 2QD) at 12.20pm on October 4, and afterwards for a party at the York Marina (YO19 4RW) to swap stories and celebrate his life.
The family has requested that no ties are worn, in keeping with Hassell’s everyday preference, and that there should only be floral tributes from the family.
