Grohe sets up new water systems, filter and kitchen channel division

Bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings specialist Grohe has announced the setting up of a new business division – Watersystems, Filter and Kitchen Channel EMENA.

The division, says Grohe, will concentrate on leveraging its growing water systems business, specifically with its Grohe Blue and Grohe Red ranges.

Andrea Bußmann (pictured left) will take over as senior vice-president for the new water systems, filter and kitchen channel EMENA [Europe, Middle East and North Africa] division, effective today (October 1).

In her new role, Bußmann will continue reporting to Jonas Brennwald, chief executive LWT EMENA and deputy CEO of Grohe AG.

Alexander Zeeh, vice-president, central Europe

Commenting on the move, Brennwald said: “We are excited for Andrea Bußmann to take over this new role within our new water systems unit. The distribution of sustainable products, such as Grohe Blue and Red, holds great potential, especially internationally.”

He continued: “Smart kitchen systems are very much in our consumers’ focus: they save water, energy, reduce CO2 consumption and waste balance. Andrea Bußmann brings extensive strategic and business experience. This, combined with her deep industry knowledge and experience scaling new business opportunities, will be a huge asset to Grohe and [parent company] Lixil in the EMENA region as we are shaping the future.”

Bußmann has worked for Grohe for the past 12 years, six as regional vice-president for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Meanwhile, in a separate move, Alexander Zeeh (pictured) has joined Grohe as regional vice-president for central Europe, replacing Bußmann in that role.
