Sensio Lighting among firms featured in Parliamentary Review

Sensio Lighting has appeared in the latest Parliamentary Review for Manufacturing and Services as one of the eight contributing companies from the manufacturing and services sector.

The Review, chaired by former Conservative Communities Secretary Lord Pickles and former Labour Home Secretary Lord Blunkett, brings together a series of independent publications, with the aim of sharing best practice among policy makers and business leaders and helping organisations confront the challenges of the ever-changing political landscape.

In the Parliamentary Review 2019/2020, Sensio features with an article written by managing director Michael Linsky outlining the company’s achievements and its commitment to innovation as a means of adapting the company’s original business model.

The Review also focuses on key government policy areas along with commentaries from award-winning journalists, such as Andrew Neil (pictured) and industry experts, including Sensio and Mitsubishi Electric.

Commenting on Sensio’s inclusion in The Parliamentary Review, Linsky said: “We were approached by the team at The Parliamentary Review earlier this year to be part of this very prestigious project. They were impressed by our rapid and consistent growth of 15% per annum, our focused approach of investing in research and development and our plans to future-proof the business.

“Our interview, which was an honest account of the lessons learnt in developing Sensio Lighting, resulted in an article in the publication representing the Manufacturing and Services industry which will be used to influence and educate within our sector, an honour indeed to be in print alongside senior politicians and other leading Electronic experts.”

In his foreword to the Review, MP Michael Gove commented: “This year’s Parliamentary Review comes at a momentous time for parliament, as we collectively determine the destiny of the United Kingdom.”

Co-chairman of the review Lord Pickles said: “[It is] essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend.”

Sensio’s Linsky (pictured top) was one of the guests attending the annual gala and reception at the palace of Westminster that marked the release of this year’s Parliamentary Review.
