kbbreview Retail & Design Awards sponsorship is ‘perfect choice’ for Sottini

Bathroom brand Sottini will be sponsoring the New Bathroom Retailer of the Year category at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2020.

It will be the first time that Sottini has partnered with the event, which is being held on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. Adam Evans (pictured), channel director at Sottini, said: “The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards, and particularly the ‘New Bathroom Retailer of the Year’ category, were the perfect choice for us when it came to sponsorship. We’ve made some significant investments across the business this year, to really offer retailers the ability to curate an aspirational range of products for consumers looking for timeless designs and Italian-inspired solutions.

“Awards that see key voices from across the industry – including media publications like kbbreview, manufacturers and wider experts – come together to champion the innovation and progress being made across the sector are very important. We know there is great work being delivered by designers and retailers alike, so we’re delighted that we’re able to recognise and celebrate this in partnership with kbbreview – a publication that we see as one of the most respected in the kitchens and bathrooms industry.

“Our involvement in these awards also highlights how we pride ourselves on working closely with bathroom retailers to add value to their product offerings, giving them the best advice possible and ensuring they see a return on investment. This includes guaranteeing that they have the most up-to-date knowledge of the products, offering training and product recommendations, and also providing support when it comes to the actual design of the showroom.

Evans also highlighted a growing trend for retail spaces. “Consumers now expect more from their bathrooms and see them as more aspirational spaces, so it’s important that the showrooms are well designed and act as a source of inspiration for modern end-users,” he said. “The Sottini Fusaro and Ellero ranges, for example, take advantage of these design trends with thinner edges and rounder shapes. Similarly, durability will always be important, so our unique Diametec technology is incorporated into our Ellero products, allowing for stronger, thinner designs.

“For us, bathroom retailers need to be versatile in their offering to ensure they can meet growing trends and the needs of any customer, while also having a knowledgeable team that can answer questions and offer advice around any of the products available.

“This, for Sottini, would make an award-winning bathroom retailer. The needs of retailers are aligned with the needs of customers, and our products are designed to incorporate solutions that appeal directly to the requirements of modern end-users. We’re looking forward to seeing the high-calibre entries that come through and we wish everyone the very best of luck.”
