kbb Birmingham 2020: Sinks and taps

Franke

Stand: H80

Franke will once again be taking up its prime position on stand H80 in Hall 19. There will be many product categories on display, including several styles from its new decorative hoods collection, its extended Box Center sink range and a new sink, which it is launching exclusively at the show.

Blanco

Stand: I100

Blanco will be demonstrating a number of key product lines, including its Etagon sinks, the benefits of Silgranit stone composite, its Durinox stainless steel finish and its smart tap collection, which features the award-winning Evol-S Volume and the “specification-beating” Tampera Hot boiling water tap and system.

The 1810 Company

Stand: G100

Together with a selection of best-sellers, The 1810 Company is showcasing several new and exciting products and innovations. These include Razor – a range of inset sinks featuring a 10mm radius and contemporary ‘razor’ edge profile, as well as Zen10 Options – a range of under- mount sinks that can also be top-mounted or inset. 1810 is also launching a selection of taps in matt black finish, and the Spirale tap in a new ‘spring’ hose version.

Caple

Stand: K100

This kitchen distributor is being tight-lipped about this year’s show, but says technology and design-led products are strong themes. This is where Caple hopes to achieve increased sales, new business, maintain existing relationships and increase brand awareness. “We always try to create an experience,” says managing director Danny Lay. “So when you step off the stand, you’ll remember exactly who we are and what we have to offer.”

Quooker

Stand: G122

The original boiling water tap specialist will use the kbb show to launch Quooker CUBE – a new accessory that allows the user to dispense sparkling and chilled water from any Quooker tap in the range. The brand will also launch new finishes, Black Flex and Brass Patine, alongside the new Scale Control Plus, which has been developed to lengthen the lifespan of a Quooker tap by reducing water hardness.

Abode

Stand: I90

Abode will be launching a number of new products at kbb Birmingham, including additions to its Pronteau steaming hot water tap range, among them Prothia. Delivering steaming hot water at 98°C, the Prothia is supplied with the new PB2X boiler and is available in five finishes – chrome, brushed nickel, matt black, brushed brass and urban copper.

Carron Pheonix

Stand: H80

Reflecting its mission as a brand that delivers good quality, design and value, Carron Phoenix is showing several new sink and tap products, alongside the promotion of its latest Value Deals offers. Recognising the demand for texture and colour in the kitchen, matt black and brushed nickel have been introduced as colour options to its tap ranges, as well as on the new Rosolina, Savoy and the Sift filter tap models.

Hyco

Stand: I140

Hyco says it is excited to be showcasing the newly-extended Zen 100°C boiling and chilled tap range – one, the company says, of only a few true boiling 100°C taps on the market. Hyco will also show its 98°C Sigma 3-in-1 boiling water tap, which is competitively-priced and available with a swan or square neck in polished chrome or brushed nickel finish.

InSinkErator

Stand: H84

InSinkErator has invested in its largest exhibition space to date at this year’s kbb. The brand’s premium Showroom Collection, which includes the InSinkErator 4N1 Touch range of taps, will have pride of place on its stand as it aims to attract independent kitchen specialists. Visitors will also be the first to see a selection of new products from the waste disposal and tap specialist.

The Tap Factory
Stand: H140

The Tap Factory is featuring its digital boiling water tap range, along with the launch of its Vibrance Collection of kitchen mixer taps, which are available as a mains-filtered, cold water option. The company will also show its OEM bathroom taps and showers. These products are supplied as own-label and can be bought in manageable quantities and relabelled to suit the customer.
