Appliance brand Blomberg is celebrating the success of its 2015 training roadshow, which saw more than 320 Euronics agents and 52 members of shop staff trained over the course of six weeks.
Kicking off in September, the nationwide programme ended in Beko’s showroom in Watford. Beko’s head of training Kay Ainsworth led the Blomberg team, with a series of evening events held at hotels across the UK.
The team, said Blomberg, stepped away from the traditional presentation approach and made training as interactive as possible, with a series of four “snappy, helpful and fun” sessions. The event was designed to give retailers new and valuable information they could take away and apply in-store.
Ms Ainsworth said: “I firmly believe that hands-on training is still the best and that’s why our retail partners are so keen to attend our events. It was absolutely brilliant to have the chance to speak to so many of them in person, and we’ve had fantastic feedback. We’d like to thank everyone who participated and hope that they were able to implement their new learning in-store.”
David Pipe of MJ Pipe in Haverhill, Suffolk, whose team attended one of the sessions, commented: “Myself and our staff all said that the training and information evening was genuinely one of the best that we’d attended from any manufacturer. The team were knowledgeable and I highly recommend attending the event and getting fully behind ‘our’ brand.”
