Brandt Designs postpones showroom opening

Brandt Designs has postponed the grand opening of its second showroom on Finchley Road, London.

Kitchen retailer has said that it is putting its customers and the local community first and is following the latest guidance by the government regarding coronavirus.

The showroom, which is at 489 Finchley Road, Hampstead, was due to open on March 19 but has been postponed until further notice.

Scott Davis, director, Brandt Design said: “Our business ethos is founded on working to the highest standards, and this is reflected in our commitment to customer service, looking after our team and supporting the communities we serve. Please accept our sincere apologies for the postponement of this event, but feel assured that we will keep you informed once it is safe to re-schedule. We hope that you all stay safe during these uncertain times.”

Hatch End showroom remains open to the public and the company has taken steps to have many of its staff work from home.

Julia Steadman, head of operations at Brandt Design said: “We have not taken this decision lightly but we do feel that it is in the interest of both our clients and our team. Our priority at this time has to be the welfare of everyone. Please note that we have already taken steps to arrange for many of our team to work from home, to further ensure their safety. However, this will not affect our day to day function and we remain open for business as usual.”
