Ca’Pietra has launched a competition for children to design a new tile. The three winning tiles will be put on sale on its website.
The Ca’Pietra Design Challenge will give children the chance to design a 130 x 130mm tile. The winners will also receive the designed tiles for them and up to six family and friends.
Ten per cent of the website sales of the winning tiles will go to the Together for Short Lives, which is a charity that supports seriously ill children and their families. Children up to the age of 16 are eligible to enter the competition.
Children can download a sheet on which they can design and name the tile from the Ca’Pietra website and then email it back to the company.
The contest will run from the start of April until the end of June, when Hamish Smith, Ca’Pietra creative director, will pick a winner.
