Warbrick returns to Clive Christian

Premium kitchen market veteran Martin Warbrick has returned to Clive Christian Furniture after a 16-year gap.

He has been appointed as a non-executive director and will work in the role of ‘growth consultant’.

The appointment continues the recruitment of former senior personnel at the revitalised brand. Former owner of Clive Christian Tunbridge Wells and manager of the Harrods concession Christine Saladas was appointed as private client manager in January.

During his tenure as sales and marketing Director from 1992 to 2004, Warbrick played an integral role in establishing the Clive Christian brand internationally, overseeing an expansion strategy that took the brand from one showroom in the UK to over forty worldwide.

Since then, he has had senior roles at other luxury furniture companies including Brookmans, Smallbone of Devizes, Mark Wilkinson Furniture and more recently, Savoir Beds.

David Dare became owner and chairman of Clive Christian Furniture Co at the end of 2019 following a management buy out.

“It gives me immense pleasure to welcome Martin Warbrick back to the company in a dedicated role as growth consultant,” Dare said. “The fact that Clive Christian Furniture Co. is now a world-renowned furniture brand is testament in part to Martin and his prudent insight into the international market.

“His personal understanding of the business will be critical during these unprecedented times as we push forward with positive plans for the future, stabilising our long-term position in the marketplace.

“I, along with the entire team, look forward to working closely with him as we continue to bring exemplary British furniture making to the international stage.”
