Villeroy and Boch opens first UK solus kitchen showroom

The UK’s first independent branded Villeroy and Boch Küchen showroom has opened in Cheshire.

The 100sq m showroom on Alderley Edge’s high street has five lifestyle displays with the Cera ceramic collection in the front window. The showroom also stocks a range of classic and contemporary Villeroy and Boch crockery, cutlery and glassware.

Andrew Dillon, director of Valchero, the company behind Villeroy and Boch Küchen Cheshire, reported on his LinkedIn account that enquires started coming through a month before the showroom officially opened on July 25.

Dillon added: “I am thrilled to be the first solus Villeroy and Boch kitchen furniture showroom to open in the UK, offering customers an inspirational shopping experience and access to the latest exclusive kitchen designs.”

The kitchens in the showroom feature Küppersbusch appliances, while tableware from Villeroy and Boch adds the finishing touches. German manufacturer Störmer makes the kitchens for Villeroy and Boch under licence.

Bodie Kelay, managing director of Euromobel, who is responsible for the Villeroy and Boch Kitchens brand in the UK, said: “It’s extremely exciting to celebrate the new opening. Andrew is truly passionate about kitchen design and has created a stunning flagship for the premium German brand.”
