Hoover’s first major launch of cooking appliances in over two years sees it unveil 53 new products, which include smart, pyrolytic and steam ovens and gas and induction hobs.
The Collection 3 is the first significant launch for Hoover in the past two years. The company has designed the collection to bring value to customers’ everyday lives with modern technology and new aesthetics.
A number of the products are smart appliances and are wi-fi-connected, giving them a range of features such as remote control, voice activation and access to 200 recipes.
Nick Platt, business director for built-in appliances at Hoover, said: “This is our first major cooking collection launch in more than two years, and we’ve spent considerable time and resource ensuring the Collection 3 range meets booth current and future consumer needs.
“These new look ovens will certainly stand out in the showroom, and we’ve been impressed with initial feedback from the trade when discussing listings or displays.
The collection has a range of ovens in 65 litre to 78 litre capacities and single or double configurations with a variety of functions. The ovens have either black glass or stainless-steel accents.
There are 20 gas and induction hob configurations, ranging from 600mm to 750mm in width and with four and five cooking zones. Two models are wi-fi-connected, which offers remote control, pre-set special functions and step-by-step recipes.
Platt added: “As a leader in smart appliances, we wanted to build this tech into our new models to offer appliances that provide great performance and add value to everyday lives. We know that people were cooking more during lockdown and our latest products mean that even the most amateur or nervous cooks can impress with their culinary talents thanks to the support and guidance available through the accompanying app.
“Cooking is a major focus for us, evidenced in our partnership with [celebrity chef] Simon Rimmer and we’re proud to be doing our bit to help consumers who aspire to cook better.”
