The luxury vinyl flooring (LVT) provider Malmo has joined the British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) as a corporate sponsor.
Malmo’s flooring has a focus on easy installation with a simple click method. The company has 52 designs across Rigid 5G Click and Stickdown installation systems.
Anna-Marie Belton, communications officer at the BiKBBI, said: “We are delighted that Malmo has decided to join BiKBBI as a corporate sponsor. They have a fantastic product and their messages around ease of installation, time saving and quality will all resonate with our members. We are looking forward to working with Malmo and sharing their products, knowledge and expertise with our members.”
Gail Alcock, product director for Malmo (pictured), said: “Our collaboration with the BIKBBI comes at a good time as, over the past few years, the LVT flooring industry has been growing at a great pace, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom sectors.
“We always like to keep the installer in mind, so have partnered with the worldwide brand, Välinge, to offer one of the strongest and easiest click installation methods on the market, as well as using the latest LVT innovation, a Rigid SPC (Stone Polymer Core), giving each board more stability and strength than a standard flex LVT.
“You don’t have to give any thought to underlay either, as the Malmo Rigid Click products are all produced with the underlay attached to each board, which ensures each floor has the adequate underlay requirement for any installation. Installers can be certain that they are fitting a quality floor with ease. Teaming up with BIKBBI will ensure that we get this message out there.”
