UK members of the Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of Der Kreis, received their highest bonuses ever this year.
The bonuses are usually paid in May or June, but the KBBG paid their members two months early in 2020, for the 2019 year, as a way to help with their cash flow.
Bill Miller, managing director of the KBBG, said: “We are absolutely delighted with how successful many of our members were with their bonuses, particularly this year when times have been tougher than ever due to the pandemic.
“The bonus payments are traditionally paid in May or June, however in view of the extraordinary circumstances, we made an interim payment to qualifying members at the end of March.”
The huge annual supplier bonus payment is a reflection of the success that the members of the KBBG buying group had in 2019.
Miller continued: “Times are tough, but there are glimpses of positivity that we must all hold on to. For any independent kitchen and bathroom specialist that hasn’t considered joining a buying group before, now is the time to do so. The bonus payments provided many of our members with an injection of cash when they needed it the most this year.
“The bonus payments are just one of the many benefits that the KBBG has to offer and we aim to continue to help independent kitchen and bathroom specialists throughout the Covid-19 crisis and beyond.”
