Pronorm announces 26 new colours at Hausmesse

Pronorm has announced several new products at the annual Hausmesse event in Germany.

Hausmesse, which took place in Germany on September 19-25, saw contemporary kitchen furniture brand Pronorm demonstrate its ongoing commitment to new product development, launching a significant number of new door finishes and design inspiration for blending working and living at home.

The products on display are for 2021, with several of them to be available from this November. The new launch included 26 new door colours, seven of which are in their highly popular matt anti-fingerprint finish.

There were new designs such as wood, terrazzo, brushed steel and concrete. There is a mix of darker and warmer tones to lighter pastels and pale greys that add light to a kitchen design. Pictured is the new Terrazzo Gold Brown.

Richard Turner, national sales manager for the UK and Ireland, said: “Although this has been a year dominated by the Covid pandemic, we have used this time creatively to assess the design, practical and psychological trends in play to launch products that will provide elegant furniture solutions for consumers as they adapt their homes.”

The German kitchen company opened its showroom doors to retailers from across Europe, including the UK and Ireland. Pronorm made sure that the showroom was operating within current Covid guidelines, with appointment-only visits, social distancing, temperature checks and QR scanning for contact tracing, to make sure that everyone was a safe as possible.

For those unable to make it out to the Pronorm HQ in Vlotho, Germany, there was a virtual tour of the new products and showroom display sets. The videos outlined the product and technical details so all customers were able to experience the open house.

Turner concluded: “This has been a year like no other, but Pronorm remains strongly committed to the markets in the UK and Ireland and as a business partner supporting our retailers.

“Hausmesse is always the focal point for our new products and we wanted to maintain that normality, while adapting to current circumstances. We are confident that the virtual showroom experience, together with the online and in-person product training and sales support that is available ongoing will help our retailers continue to feel included and empowered for business ahead.”
