Wall panelling brand Showerwall is on the hunt for fitters around the UK.
The company – based in Newcastle-under-Lyme – is calling for plumbers, joiners, builders and bathroom retailer fitting teams to register at www.showerwall.co.uk/fit-it as part of its Find a Fitter programme, which launched earlier this week.
Showerwall will use the programme to build a nationwide network of trusted installers for its range of high-pressure laminate and acrylic panelling products. The scheme is aimed at sole traders and bathroom installation businesses across the UK.
Before installers can join with the scheme, in order to ensure the professionalism and quality standards of those involved, they will be required to comply with a list of terms and conditions, including verifying that they are registered with well-known bodies such as Checkatrade.
As part of the vetting process, Showerwall will also check the websites and social media pages of those applying for reviews.
Benefits of being listed will include increased business potential in their local area from consumers searching for tradesmen. They will receive a gift on registration, regular product offers, and have access a comprehensive support package that includes help with training and sales, a new trade brochure and two new online training videos with step-by-step installation guides for Showerwall products.
Said Showerwall product manager Steph Harris: “Wall panelling is one of the fastest-growing markets and there is currently a gap between buying the product and finding someone with recognised experience of fitting it and this presents a significant opportunity for Showerwall.
“We’ve launched Find a Fitter so that we can build an online community of installers who will have the opportunity to share their work and win more new business locally through their association with a leading bathroom surfacing brand.
“Showerwall is an easy product to fit for any competent tradesperson, but at the moment there isn’t a recognised pool of professional installers, as there is for example with tilers, and this is something we want to create through Find a Fitter.”
