Double-whammy of awards wins for Merlyn

Merlyn is celebrating a double-whammy after it won two prestigious awards in one week.

The first award went to its customer care team, who won Team of the Year at the Irish Customer Contact and Shared Services Awards 2020 for the second time.

The Irish shower products specialist was also voted Supplier of the Year in the plumbing, heating and showrooms category by the National Buying Group (NBG) for the third time running.

Merlyn customer service manager, Kathy Egan, said: “It is an honour to receive this award and be among the cream of Irish companies shortlisted. Our team has worked endlessly to ensure our customers continue to receive the highest level of care, from technical support right through to aftersales and bespoke orders.”

The Irish Customer Contact and Shared Services Awards 2020 were hosted virtually on November 2020 by Ireland’s Customer Contact Management Association (CCMA). The awards are said to recognise the accomplishments of key individuals, teams and brands within the contact centre industry, in sales, customer service and technical support.

Less than a week later, Merlyn won Supplier of the Year at the NBG’s 2020 Annual Supplier Awards, which were also held virtually on November 25.
