2020 to host four-day virtual event

Software specialist 2020 is hosting a free virtual event for retailers, interior designers, and manufacturers from June 14-17.

Ken Short, vice-president of marketing at 2020, said: “This is our second year in a row hosting 2020 Connect and we are looking forward to sharing valuable information and advice with professionals in the home-improvement industry.

“We’ve got amazing guest speakers and 2020 experts ready to share their wealth of knowledge and we can’t wait to connect with everyone at our virtual event!”

There are 55 sessions in total that will aim to give practical advice to attendees. The 2020 team will also be on hand to talk to participants about the software and demonstrate the package in person.

On the opening day, there will be a global design contest ceremony followed by a welcome address by 2020 chief executive Mark Stoever. Then two keynote presentations are by president of ThinkLab and Sandow Design Group Amanda Schneider, and NKBA CEO Bill Darcy. There will also be a happy hour session for everyone involved.

June 15 will be geared towards design with guest speakers including JKMR director Jayne Barber, Simon Acres Group founder Simon Acres, Foyne Jones and Jones Digital founder Peter Jones, and Bathroom Origins sales and marketing director Sofia Charalambous.

The following day will be about the internet and how to improve online consumer engagement for retailers, e-tailers, and manufacturers. The final day will be devoted to cabinet, furniture and millwork manufacturers and how they have grown their businesses through digitisation, automation, and optimisation.
