New UK leader at Grohe

Grohe has appointed Matt Brown as UK leader on July 1, 2021. He succeeds Simon Andersen who has moved to a new position at Grohe’s HQ in Germany.

Brown was the former leader of finance for Grohe UK and started at the company in 2018. Before that he had a range of top positions in commercial finance, financial planning and strategy and has held previous roles within leading FMCG corporations such as H J Heinz.

Commenting on his appointment, Brown said: “I am very excited about moving into the role of leading the UK business. Simon has done a great job over the past two years and has established a strong platform for continued future growth. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues, partners and customers on building momentum and taking the UK business‘ growth from strength to strength as we look set to continue emerging from the pandemic over the coming months.”

Andersen become head of Grohe UK in September 2019. Before that he had previous positions in the Nordics region of the business. He has lead the team during the pandemic and Brown will continue his work.

Taking over from Brown’s former role is Tej Sehmi, who has been promoted internally from financial controller for GROHE UK following almost eight years with the company.

Simon has truly been remarkable whilst leading our UK business, delivering against our transformational journey and ensuring the foundation is set in order to support our new commercial Strategy. As a friend and as a colleague I thank Simon for his hard work and commitment to the UK business and most of all the UK team.”
