Caesarstone tops expectations in Ireland

Quartz surface specialist Caesarstone has exceeded its sales targets in Ireland after the opening of a warehouse in Dublin by its distributor CR Laurence.

The warehouse facility has enabled CR Laurence to stock Caesarstone surfaces and fulfil small to medium-sized orders in the local area. Large orders will continue to be fulfilled from the UK.

According to a statement, the company has seen huge growth throughout the north and south of Ireland over the past six months.

Caesarstone sales director David Beckett commented: “Based on past orders, we were confident that the market for Caesarstone surfaces would be strong in Ireland when we opened the facility in January, but the reality has far surpassed our expectations. It is very positive news for the Cesarstone brand but also for the Irish market as a whole, with the signs of a full and steady economic recovery all there.

“Our Dublin depot enables us to keep good stock of our full range of Caesarstone products in order to offer a fast turnaround on local orders and we are confident that the brand will continue to penetrate the Irish market going forward.”

In response to the growth, the company has also appointed a dedicated sales merchandiser, Colleen Burns, to support retailers and help them promote Caesarstone products in their showrooms.
