Kbb Birmingham has announced that the deadline to enter its Innovation Awards 2022 has been extended until January 14.
Kbb Birmingham, Europe’s largest biennial kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms event, which takes place on March 6-9, is running The Innovation Awards 2022 in partnership with Blum to recognise the best ideas and most creative and ground-breaking solutions in the KBB industry.
Entrants can nominate a new method, idea or product that demonstrates innovation. Entries will be considered for three categories.
The Judges Winner will be voted for by an expert panel of judges comprising leading professionals from different areas of the KBB market, including design, technical and journalism backgrounds. They will consider which entrants are bringing something new, unique and forward-thinking to the market.
The second category is The People’s Choice, voted for by visitors to the show.
And for 2022, there is a new category for Best Sustainable product, voted for by the expert panel of judges.
Winners will be announced at the show on March 8, 2022.
Entries can include the latest innovations, ranging from products and components to manufacturing techniques that are revolutionising the market. Only solutions or products launched in the past 18 months will be accepted.
After the judging has taken place, 10 successful shortlisted entries will be on display in the atrium at the NEC for the duration of the show.

The 2022 kbb Birmingham show, which attracts senior decision makers from the retail and contracts sector, will feature more than 300 exhibitors from 26 different product categories and expects to attract over 15,000 visitors over the four days.
